Objective

This course is designed to teach skills in residential care which will qualify students to perform uncomplicated nursing procedures and to assist Licensed practical Nurses or Registered Nurses in direct resident care.  A clinical experience, first aid and CPR is included.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYMENT

Graduates of this course have a tremendous opportunity for employment due to the demand for jobs in this field.  They have a choice of working in the nursing homes and some of the hospitals in the areas.

Classes will meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with half hour for lunch for first five weeks. Clinical hours are 9 a.m. to 2:30 Monday through Thursday for second five weeks.
